I'm Paul Martyn, a wedding saxophonist based in Nottingham. I play live sax for your ceremony: as you walk in, while you sign, and as you leave as a married couple. We choose the music together beforehand, and I carry on through the drinks reception and into the evening party, so the music runs all day.
Live sax as you walk down the aisle, to the song you've chosen for that moment.
Music while you sign, so the room stays relaxed and your guests have something to enjoy.
Something upbeat as you walk back down the aisle together and out to your guests.
Every booking includes a consultation where you and Paul plan the music, starting with your ceremony. Some couples want a classic love song, others want a sax version of a song that means something to them. If you have a song in mind, bring it to the consultation.
For quieter moments like the ceremony and the drinks reception, Paul plays live sax over backing tracks, so the sound is full without needing a band in the room.
Mark and Sahar first heard Paul at a wedding fair at Belvoir Castle, where he was playing Songbird on the sax. He went on to play their whole wedding day, from the ceremony music to the drinks reception, the first dance and the evening party.
Ceremony music is the start of the All-Day Wedding package. After the ceremony, Paul plays sax and vocals through the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast. Then comes your first dance and a live sax and DJ set to finish the night, so you have one musician from the first note to the last song. See DJ and sax for weddings for how the evening works, or the wedding saxophonist page for the whole day.
Ceremony music is part of the All-Day Wedding, which runs from your ceremony to the end of the evening party with full production all day. If you only need music for the later part of the day, Evening Plus and the Party Package cover that. Prices are "from" prices; your final quote is confirmed after checking your date and location.
