I'm Paul Martyn, and at your wedding I'm both the DJ and the sax player. I run the DJ set and play live saxophone over it, with vocals too, so your evening party is one continuous performance from the first dance to the last song. I'm based in Nottingham, play weddings across the UK and abroad, and bring full sound and lighting.
The song you chose together in your consultation, then straight into the party with no gap in the music.
House, dance and chart tracks mixed continuously, with your must-plays worked in and anything you'd rather avoid left out.
Paul picks up the melody and the big hooks of the track that's playing and plays live sax over it, out in the room with your guests.
Paul sings live too, so the night moves between sax, vocals and the DJ mix, and the dancefloor stays full.

A lot of couples book a wedding DJ and then add a saxophonist on top. That can work, but it means two suppliers to brief, two sets of equipment in the room, and a sax player fitting around somebody else's playlist.
With Paul, the DJ and the sax player are the same person. He knows which track is coming next, so the sax comes in on the big moments, and if the dancefloor needs a change of direction he can change it straight away. There is one booking, one setup and one person to plan the music with. Couples regularly mention the mix of sax, singing and DJ in their reviews.
It doesn't have to be just the evening. Evening Plus adds sax and vocals during drinks or the wedding breakfast, and the All-Day Wedding starts with live sax for your ceremony. You can see exactly what each option includes on the wedding saxophonist prices page.
For the evening party, the Party Package covers a 2-hour live sax and DJ set. Evening Plus adds background music and an early-evening sax set, and the All-Day Wedding runs from your ceremony to the end of the night. Every package includes a full professional sound system and lighting. Prices are "from" prices; your final quote is confirmed after checking your date and location.
